2016年6月，塔斯曼博士开始了他作为斯特克曼菲利普研究所的生物医学工程署署长的新职位。beplay 888官网After receiving a M.Eng degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1981, he ran the Gait Analysis Laboratory at Newington Children’s Hospital in Hartford, CT until 1987, where he helped to develop and run one of the first automated, 3D video-motion analysis systems. He earned a PhD in mechanical engineering from Stanford University in 1992, and then directed the Motion Analysis Laboratory at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI from 1992-2006 (where he developed the first dynamic biplane radiographic imaging system for musculoskeletal studies). Prior to June 2016, he held the position of Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, where he directed the Biodynamics Laboratory and continued to develop advanced imaging systems and apply them for musculoskeletal research.
